Swiss market leader DER Touristik Suisse (previously called Kuoni Reisen AG) was established in 1906. It has been a part of the German REWE group since 2015.
They operate under a number of labels, one of which is Pink Cloud, specialist in LGBT travels. Like other labels of the group, they offer taylor-made luxury packages, under the pay-off “Make sure you travel with friends”. Their hotels and destinations are either gay or gay-friendly.
Pink Cloud offers a large variety of trips, from hiking in the Andes, to a ferry across the Channel, and from business trips to Caribbean cruises.
Pink Cloud Travel Service was created in 2000 by Dorado Reisen, and was integrated in Kuoni in 2008. They present themselves to be for “lesbians, gay men and their friends”.
They have partnerships with Pink Alpine (mountain sports), Out Adventures (exotic group travels, Frauen unterwegs (women only trips) and OutWest Global Adventures (active holidays).
